CORPS MAGNETIQUES refers to polarized bodies interacting with each others. Our goal is to open up dance to other artistic disciplines in order to explore mouvement’s boundaries. Our artistic projects are a way of thinking differently our relationship to others, our relationship to the world, to open doors to perceptive universes.
Both a dancer and a masseur, choreographer Massimo Fusco explores ways of connecting dance and care through immersive sound, visual and choreographic installations : SOUND BODIES and SOUND BODIES FOR KIDS. This transversality allows him to create original choreographic projects such as the films OASIS BODIES and BAL MAGNETIQUE, a new immersive and participatory ball project within CORPS MAGNETIQUES.
Massimo Fusco is an associate artist at Les Hivernales – CDCN d’Avignon. With the support of the French Ministry of Culture, it allows companies to receive support and full accompaniment for a period of three years and allows the CDCN to nourish their artistic and pedagogical program.
CORPS MAGNETIQUES – Massimo Fusco is supported by TREMPLIN 2024/27. This French network supports emerging choreographic talent in the Greater West of France and in Paris. Run by Danse à tous les étages, Tremplin brings together 15 structures committed to supporting the development of emerging artists over 3 seasons to activate inter-regional dynamics for co-productions and shared tours.
