Fabien Almakiewicz

Dancer and yoga teacher

Born in 1975, Fabien Almakiewicz studied at the Beaux Arts art schools in Cherbourg and Marseille from 1997 to 2002, after a training of stained glass in Cahors, and later in Nancy, at the CERFAV.

In 1998, he discovered somatic techniques and contemporary dance, and quickly became part of the European Dance Development Center (EDDC) in Arnhem, Netherlands.
Since then, he took part in various productions as a dancer and performer : Christophe Haleb (1999-2003), Collectif Skalen (2004-2008), Rosalind Crisp (2004), Serge Ricci (2000-2012), Sylvie Le Quéré (2009-2010), Françoise Tartinville, Christian Rizzo (2013-2019), Stéphanie Thiersch (2014-2020), Christian and François Ben Aïm and Eva Klimackova. His approach to dance movements and somatic techniques are valuable skills for the projects EXTENSIONS, SOUND BODIES and SOUND BODIES FOR KIDS.
